Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare, more commonly known as "The Willows", offers both outpatient and inpatient treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. This is Central New York's oldest alcohol treatment facility, having established a treatment program in 1959. The facility has operated, in one form or another, since 1920. The Willows offers a comprehensive listing of services, all of which can be found on their website. In addition to basic treatment services, the Willows also offer several halfway houses for aftercare.
Although there are numerous other treatment facilities in the area, these three drug/alcohol rehabs appear to have the strongest and longest reputations in this particular field. For those seeking assistance with their addiction, these are all good places to start.
